The council meets in the village hall on the second Wednesday of the month.
As well as looking after the village hall and allotments and organising grass cutting and maintenance of public areas in the village such as the village green, the council is currently working in partnership with Dean Parish Council to produce a joint response to the proposals for the Lostrigg Solar Park, which would utilise land in both parishes.
Since December 2022, a newsletter called Village News has been produced and delivered throughout the villages by members of the Parish Council and volunteers. The plan is to publish 3-4 issues a year.
Residents can send suggestions for content to the editor, Sue Tasker
