The Village Hall has charitable status (Charity Number 506531), is managed by the Parish Council as Sole Trustee, and is chaired by Councillor Jean McCartney.
A well-used venue for various community groups, such as art and music groups, community social events and private events, the hall is located in the centre of Bridgefoot adjacent to the turning for Little Clifton. It has a small stage area and kitchen and there is ample parking.
Recent improvement to the hall include installing solar panels and other measures to improve its energy efficiency, funded by a grant from the National Lottery. As part of this project, a bat survey was commissioned – the report can be downloaded here.
In the near future we will be installing a new gas boiler, improving access to the Hall for wheelchair users, providing disabled parking spaces for patrons of the Village Hall and renovating the four flower beds to the front of the car park.
